About Management Aptitude Test
Management Aptitude Test commonly referred to as MAT is a test for the candidates aspiring to get admissions in B-Schools (Business Schools). This is a standardized test which is administered since year 1988. MAT was approved as a national level test in the year 2003 by Government of India, Ministry of HRD. Based on the MAT Score, any Business School whether international or national can give admissions to the candidates. It is one of the widely accepted exams for the B-Schools in India.
Management Aptitude Test MAT 2013 Eligibility
In order to give the MAT exam, the candidates must be a graduate in any field. The students who are in final year can also give this entrance examination. There are two modes of test to give this examination. The candidates can appear for this examination either online or offline i.e. the paper based examination.
Date of Examination – For the upcoming MAT, the date for paper based examination is on 5.5.2013 and the date for online examination is on 11.5.2013 onwards. If the candidates who are applying for computer based examination are not many, then the examination procedure will be completed on 11th May 2013 itself. The timings to appear for paper based examination are from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm.

How to Apply for Management Aptitude Test 2013
There are various modes to apply for MAT.
- The candidate can make cash payment and obtain MAT bulletin. The MAT bulletin can be obtained from the listed branches of Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, from AIMA or listed centers of AIMA.
- One can also make a demand draft of 1200 in the favor of “All India Management Association”. It is payable at bank. You can get the detailed procedure from the bank.
- The candidate can also pay the fees online through credit card. More information about the same can be found in the website.

Management Aptitude Test MAT 2013 Syllabus
In order to crack the MAT examination the candidates must be proficient in various syllabuses. The paper is divided into 5 sections and they are – language comprehension, data analysis, mathematical skills, critical and intelligence reasoning and global & Indian environment section. The total number of questions is 200. Each section consists of 40 questions. The total duration of examination is 150 minutes.
All the candidates can download their admit card from the AIMA website. Admit card would contain candidates name, roll number, form number, test time, test address and test date.
