BSNL TTA Exam 2013

The Bharat Sanchar Nigam limited is conducting BSNL TTA exam 2013 for recruiting aspirants for the post of TTA (Telecom Technical Assistants). Only Candidates who are the citizens of India can appear for this exam. The maximum age limit for the examination should be 27 years not more than that. 18 years is the lower age limit.

Applicants should have 3 years of diploma in the following areas:

  1. Electrical Engineering
  2. Computer Engineering
  3. Information Technology
  4. Electronics Engineering
  5. Instruments Technology
  6. Telecommunication Engineering
  7. Radio Engineering

Those candidates who have completed M.Sc in electronics can also appear for the exam.

Syllabus structure for BSNL TTA Exam

24 BSNL Telecom circles organize the BSNL TTA examination 2013. The syllabus which is covered for BSNL TTA exam comprises of:

  • Basic Electricity
  • Applied Mathematics
  • Electronics Devices and Circuits
  • Physics

The pattern of the question paper of the BSNL TTA is as follows:

The BSNL TTA exam is a single paper exam. The time limit to write this exam is 3 hours. It is a 200 marks question paper. The exam is classified into 3 parts and these parts include:

  1. Basic Engineering: in this section candidates have to answer 90 questions.
  2. General Ability Test: in this section candidates have to answer 20 questions.
  3. Specialization: in this section candidates have to answer 90 questions again.

If you want to qualify in BSNL TTA exam aspirants of general category should have at least 40 percent marks and the candidates belonging to the reserved category should have at least 33 percent of marks. 2% of relaxation is given to the PH candidates belonging to all categories.

The qualified candidates should send the application filled with recommended information. You can also download the application from the official website. The candidates need to attach few relevant documents like caste certificates, recently passport size photo, mark sheets of diploma and academic etc. before 13th May 2013.

They should not miss any part of the portion which is expected to come in the syllabus. They should set time limits for each and every portion and should plan their schedule for studies accordingly.
